Intro to Pole
First timers (and those who have only taken a few classes prior) should start here. In this 4-week series you will learn foundational moves for pole such as grip points, beginner spins, climbing, and basic floorwork, putting them into a short routine at the end of each class. All levels and abilities are welcome. No prior experience is necessary.
Pole Dance Fundamentals
In this class, we will break down and explore the threads of movement that are commonly used in pole choreography, such as body waves, leg waves, hip rolls, shoulder rolls, and sensual floor work. Each week we will focus on a particular sequence and will work on getting comfortable threading together each movement. This class will move at a pace suitable to all levels and no dance experience is required. This is a great class to start in if you are new to dance/sensual movement and would like to get more comfortable with it, or if you would like to work on your dance technique.
Prerequisites: None

Prerequisite: Instructor approval and be confident in your inversions, forearm climb, and leg hangs on static and/or spin pole. It’s ok to come to this class if you are new to spin pole as long as you are at an intermediate level or higher on static pole.
Flexibility
This class is important for advancing your pole practice as many moves require a certain level of flexibility in the legs and back. Each week will focus on different body parts/goals, working towards front splits, middle splits, back bends (bridge/wheel pose), and open shoulders. Classes will consist of a warm-up and active, dynamic, and static stretching. All levels and abilities are welcome. No experience necessary.
Open Pole Practice
Open pole is an opportunity for you to come practice and refine your existing pole skills. This class is not led by an instructor, though a staff member will be present to ensure safety. Please warm up adequately and only work on moves you can safely and confidently get into and out of.
